FPD designs and manufactures custom hydraulic cylinders and rams in-house, built to your exact bore, stroke, port configuration and duty cycle — not the nearest catalogue equivalent.
Every custom build is backed by 40+ years of hydraulics experience and precision machining capability. That means the rods, glands, pistons and custom fittings inside your cylinder are machined on our own 4 and 5-axis CNC equipment.

Rebuilds and repairs
Alongside new builds, our workshop handles full cylinder and ram rebuilds: honing, chroming, seal replacement, and rod straightening or replacement where needed. Every rebuild is pressure-tested on-site before it goes back into service, so it leaves us proven, not just reassembled.
