Kawasaki K7V Pump

As New Zealand's authorised distributor for Kawasaki (KPM) hydraulic components, FPD supplies and supports the K7V range — Kawasaki's newer-generation variable-displacement axial piston pump, built on the same proven swash-plate design as K3V/K5V but engineered specifically to push efficiency and noise performance further. K7V is the pump to specify where operating cost, cabin comfort, and duty-cycle life are the priority.
Why K7V
- Higher pump efficiency than earlier K3V/K5V frames of similar size, which translates to lower fuel burn and less wasted hydraulic energy over the life of the machine
- Lower operating noise, contributing to a quieter, more comfortable operator environment
- Extended service life — a larger-capacity bearing and thicker shaft reduce load at the bearing edge, supporting long-term durability under heavy cyclical use
- High power density, keeping the pump compact for engine bay packaging
- Tandem and parallel configurations available depending on model, to suit multi-function excavator and crane hydraulic circuits
Displacement range: 125–280cc, rated to 35 MPa (350 bar) continuous / 40 MPa peak — covering mid-size through heavy-duty excavator classes.
Common applications: excavators, wheel loaders, crawler drills and pile drivers, cranes (crawler and rough terrain), crushers, and concrete pumps.
